Gallagher’s Farm is a small friendly equestrian centre / riding school which is run by Liz Keane (BHS registered instructor) and Gerry Gallagher (Horse Sport Ireland Coach (HSI)) . We are located at Fahy, Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland. www.sportonhorses.com We specialise in giving good quality riding lessons, catering for all levels, from absolute beginner’s to competition rider’s. Adult rider’s are especially welcome. Lessons can be arranged for any time weekends, weekdays or evenings. Lessons in dressage and show jumping etc. Our horses are friendly and experienced. Clients can bring their own horse/pony. We also travel to clients for freelance coaching sessions at riders own home. Pony Trekking & beach rides are also available at Gallagher’s Farm. There is lovely hacking around our local area & treks in other scenic areas can be arranged for competent riders. These include the Sceilp trail, the Western Way through the Nephin mountains through woods & forestry, beach rides on the lovely beaches around Clew Bay, also on the lovely quiet roads around Fahy, Kilmeena & carrowholly. Horses are available for hire for hunting, Irish Pony Club , Riding Club and Trec Ireland events. Pony camps during school holidays & midterm breaks. They are tailored to suit all levels of rider. In June, we run teen camps which are geared for teenage competing riders & riders working toward their pony club tests. BHS exam training and Horse Owners Cert with British Horse Society registered instructor. Own horses welcome.Adult camp lessons & games day.
